— Monthly Outlook — Effective March 1st, 2026
A rainy yet warm month is in store for NE PA. The first week of March will be cooler, but hot temps will come around the beginning of Daylight Savings Time. During the week of 3/8-3/13, temperatures will likely be up to 60F to 70F on most days. There may be a day or two up to 80F. Cooler temperatures come after the 14th, but a mix of days with 60F highs and days just above freezing will prevail for most of this month. In terms of precipitation, it seems that it will be very wet. While many days will have rain, snow is likely to fall behind some of those storms. Mid-to-late March will be the period with the most amount of precipitation. It is possible that up to 4″ of rain may fall during this month.
